Las Vegas homeowners seek help at workshop for first-time homebuyers, foreclosure prevention

An estimated 180 people attended the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco’s First-time Homebuyer and Foreclosure Prevention Workshop, held Oct. 22 at the Cashman Center.

In all, 127 counseling sessions were held, providing attendees with information for first-time homebuyers and those looking to avoid foreclosure.

Wells Fargo Home Mortgage held 48 counseling sessions, followed by Women’s Development Center/Nevada Housing with 44. Bank of America held 25 sessions, and Chase held 10.
