7th annual Las Vegas CultureFest Honors Nevada’s Workforce

Thousands are expected to descend on downtown Las Vegas on Nov. 17 for the 7th annual Las Vegas Culture Fest at the Fremont Street Experience.

Highlighted by a culturally diverse selection of performances — and dozens of food and gift vendors — this year’s event will honor Nevada’s resilient workforce, which has played an integral role in making Las Vegas one of the world’s premier destinations.

Sponsored by the Southern Nevada Water District, Caesars Entertainment and KCEP 88.1 FM, the festivities are scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to midnight. Entertainment will include live bands and dancers representing the many cultures whose presence in Las Vegas have earned it a reputation as one of America’s great cities.

“We feel that it is very important to show appreciation to Nevada’s workforce by honoring the many hospitality employees who make our state the envy of the world,” said a statement issued by Culture Fest founders Charles Tureaud and Kimberly Bailey-Tureaud. “The diverse makeup of Nevada’s workforce embodies what makes this country great, and we look forward to celebrating our coming together on the Fremont Street Experience.”

This year's CultureFest will be held Nov. 17 at the Fremont Street Experience.
