A Special ‘Thank You’ from the Tribute Awards

The members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. wish to thank all the honorees, supporters and sponsor Ceasars Entertainment of this year’s 2012 Tribute! Awards.

The 3rd Annual Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Tribute Awards extends a special “thank you” to all who supported and attended this year’s ceremony, which celebrated black pioneers of Nevada’s gaming industry. the 2012 Tribute Awards recipients include Anthony ” Tony” Gladney, Vice President of National Diversity Relations for Ceasars Entertainment Corporation: Debra Nelson, Vice President of Corporate Diversity & Community Affairs for MGM Resorts International; and a special recognition awards for Sarann Knight-Preddy, the first woman in Nevada history to secure a gaming license.

Each year, the Las Vegas Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Inc. pays tribute to high profile icons making significant contributions in their fields locally, nationally and internationally. All proceeds from the awards go to Delta Education Foundation, benefiting the Las Vegas Alumnae Chapter’s community service projects.
