Nevada is playing an increasingly vital and visible role in American politics — and with all that is happening in business, education, politics, law enforcement, and even entertainment and hospitality, there is one enduring factor: the voice of the people. Looking back on the past few years, Nevadans have been called — again and again — to make extraordinary decisions at the polls. Is this not “power”?
YOU! HAVE THE POWER is a column that will support everyone who cares enough about the future of our community, state and nation to employ their power to bring about change. It is about accepting the fact that, when history calls, we citizens have the power to make it happen.
Our collective voices and votes, fueled by knowledge, give us the power to change things that can make it better for many — not just some.
