Dear Dims: The Time For Action Is Asap

Democrats, the first thing you need to do is stop paving the road to Hell with good intentions, thinking this will win you elections. 

The second order of business is backing the “you know what” off making celebrity endorsements an emphasis in campaign advertisements. 

Thirdly (sadly, and regrettably) there exists a need to accept a fact: America ain’t ready to elect a woman as POTUS anytime soon — no matter how qualified she might be. Yes, I know it’s a shame. 

However, the major order of business is the need to develop a plan of action to present to the American people. And to do so prior to begging for more money to conduct campaigns in the same losing manner as the past. 

I am a liberal on public policy issues except for two. I support an effective death penalty and a balanced budget amendment. 

Otherwise, here is my list of a dozen concepts that should be addressed in the Plan of Action: 

1. The plan should be principled and consistent with values that Americans hold dear. 

2. The plan should be easy to follow, regardless of who might die off/move on from positions of leadership. 

3. It should emphasize the need to join and become active participants in community-based non-profits. 

4. It should be advertised in minority- and/or female-owned publications. 

5. It should put a focus on developing ways to become tech-savvy on emerging media platforms. 

6. The plan should stress how inclusion will allow America to remain competitive in the world’s economy. 

7. The plan must stress how the party has empowered women! 

8. It should emphasize two programs that have sustained the American family: Social Security and Medicare/Medicaid. 

9. It should express support for educational opportunities — including access to training in the trades and affordable higher education. 

10. The plan should include a vow to preserve the dignity of veterans and the elderly. 

11. There should be a general outline of budget expenditure categories. 

12. It should include a plan for using local people to head up outreach offices — no more bringing people from out of state to run operations. 

Hell, I even have a working title in mind: American Society’s Action Plan or ASAP. Hopefully, this will “Trump” MAGA 2026 and 2028!
