Celebrating workforce diversity, the 6th annual Las Vegas Culture Fest will take place Sept. 24 on the Fremont Street Experience.
Sponsored by Wal-Mart, Caesars Entertainment and Las Vegas Black Image Magazine, the noon to midnight event will highlight top band Mocha and other local entertainers.
Free to locals and tourists, the festival will feature a diverse array of vendors selling culturally authentic cuisine and keepsakes. The festival will also include a health fair from noon to 4 p.m.
Businesses are encouraged to secure Culture Fest vendor booths to express their commitment to diversity in the workplace. In a statement, organizers Charles Tureaud and Kimberly Bailey-Tureaud expressed excitement for the celebration.
“It is great to be on the Fremont Street Experience again, and we know that the event will be one of the best ever,” said the statement. “Las Vegas is a great city because of the diversity that exists, and the wonderful locals who work hard to keep our business industry strong. This year we celebrate diversity in the workplace and those who add so much because of their rich culture.”
Those who are interested in performing at Culture Fest or securing a vendor booth should call 702-615-8216.
