One of Las Vegas’ hottest R&B bands, MOCCA, will headline the 6th annual Las Vegas Culture Fest on Sept. 24 on the Fremont Street Experience. The event is sponsored by Wal-Mart, Caesars Entertainment, the Southern Nevada Water Authority, Dr. Annette Mayes with the Las Vegas All Woman’s Health Clinic, Channel 3, KCEP 88.1 FM and Las Vegas Black Image Magazine. MOCCA promises to dazzle the Las Vegas Culture Fest audience at the free event, which celebrates diversity in the workplace. Event organizers are looking ahead to another unforgettable gathering. “The 6th annual Las Vegas CultureFest is proud to have MOCCA serve as our headlining performing band this year,” said Charles Tureaud and Kimberly Bailey-Tureaud of Black Image magazine. “There will be entertainment celebrating all cultures during the day, starting at noon and going until midnight. This free-to-the-public event is a family affair, with a diverse collection of food and gift vendors. We also encourage companies to secure their own booths in celebration of their efforts to support workforce diversity.” For more information, call 702-615-8216.

Many thanks to Charles and Kimberly Baily Tureaud for putting on an excellent event and also to John Harrison of BlackVegas.com for all you do to uplift and celebrate the many different cultures in Las Vegas.
