NAACP ACT-SO Awards

Las Vegas Black Image Magazine was proud to attend the recent National NAACP Convention and the Afro-Academic, Cultural, Technological and Scientific Olympics (ACT-SO) competitions held at the Mandalay Bay Hotel. There, African-American youth showcased their talents in musicianship, dance, art, science, technology and poetry and more.

12th grader Alston Clark won the $5,000 ACT-SO Gold Scholarship Award for best science project.
