The word this month is tomato: Beefsteak, Cherry, Plum, Grape, Roma, Campari, Heirloom, and let’s not forget Green. I could go on and on about this amazing fruit. Tomatoes are sweet, juicy, acidic and full of vitamins. Summer is the best month for your tomato dishes. Here are a few suggestions on recipes for tomatoes that are easy to make, easy on the budget, and surely easy to eat. This summer I suggest trying:
Classic Tomato Mozzarella Cucumber Salad with Balsamic Drizzle and Basil Oil
Gazpacho with Jicama Relish
Grilled Tomato Skewers with Merlot Star Anise Reduction
Cilantro Vinaigrette Dressed Tomatoes
Tomato Goat Cheese Tart Tatin
