After walking through a winter wonderland of charity events and holiday parties, my 5-inch, blinged-out stilettos are now a lifeless pair of ballerina slippers. I am a glistened- and tinseled-out child. Time for a recharge. Where is that pink bunny when you need her? Energize!
Speaking of charities, the Kiss for a Cure, hosted Dec. 12 by former Chippendales dancer Bryan Chan, raised more than $10,000 for the American Cancer Society. There was a whole lotta kissing going on at The Act nightclub that evening, as Jaymes Vaughan and James Davis (also Chippendales dancers; but, like Chan, much more famous for competing on the hit CBS show “The Amazing Race”) loaned out their sculpted pieces of “body art” for a great cause. Let’s just say I ran out of my cherry peppermint chapstick. But not to worry girlfriends: I still had some pineapple pucker to finish off an evening of kissing sexy boys! Yummy, yummy, yummy. Thank you, Santa!

With a new year comes new hopes and dreams. Speaking of new: My newest show, “Midnight Skye (It’s Soul Sexy),” debuts Wednesday, Jan. 30 at the Sin City Theater inside Planet Hollywood. My regular appearance at the Tropicana lounge with my Skye5 Band will be on-going Thursday and Sunday nights at 9:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. Be sure to take your disco nap, because it starts at midnight. It is sure to be a soulful, sassy and sexy experience! I’m like the black Bette Midler, a voluptuous Beyonce and a female James Brown rolled into one. That’s right, I’m plugging my own show. I mean, can’t nobody toot your horn better than yourself — so blow Skye blow.

It’s 2013, and if you’re like millions of other people across the world, you probably made a resolution. Most likely, it is the same one you made last year. Oops! Sorry! Am I not being supportive? See you at the gym … tomorrow. But first, let me finish this last box of cookies.
