With the summer weather growing warmer every day, the time is right to enjoy the unique pleasures of the season: more time with our children, mellow jazz, family picnics, reunions and vacations.
All of these things bring us joy, and the residual peace they produce lingers long after those activities are immortalized as our fondest memories. It brings peace to reflect on the love and warmth we share.
Life is beautiful, and can never be taken for granted. Time is a temporary gift, and we have to spend it purposefully. Take advantage of the moments shared with friends and loved ones; tell them how important they are, and relay how much you appreciate their love and support.
It is a conscious decision to live life unselfishly because our natural emotions are birthed out of self-preservation. The special moments of this season are the perfect time to build boundaries against evil, by opening doors and letting love shine through on all we encounter.
