The United College Action Network (U-CAN) will return to Las Vegas Sept. 16–20, showcasing dozens of black college and university recruiters from around the country.

A free event, the third annual Las Vegas U-CAN Historically Black College Recruitment Fair will give Clark County students the opportunity to interface with college and university recruiters, many providing on-the-spot admissions and scholarships. U-CAN is a nonprofi t organization headed by its founders, Dr. Alan Rowe and Donna Rowe.

“This is U-CAN’s third year coming to Las Vegas,” said Alan Rowe. “It keeps getting bigger and better, and our 25-year legacy of holding these HBCU fairs has generated over $55 million in scholarship funding for students in need. The response from colleges and universities has grown, and we are expecting up to 40 recruiters to return to Las Vegas with U-CAN in September, representing some of our best higher education institutions.”
