Las Vegas draws performers from all over the world, but local talent is the heartbeat of our city’s entertainment scene.
TIFFANNE LeMAY
An incredible singer who recently appeared on “American Idol,” LeMay has been performing as a solo artist since the age of eight.
Supported and managed by her mother, LeMay’s style is inspired by R&B — but she can sing any type of music. She plans to attend college after graduating from high school this year, and looks forward to giving back to the Las Vegas community.

IESHA SPINKS
Originally from Portland, Ore., Iesha Spinks has been performing for 10 years. She describes her musical style as “a fusion of soul, jazz and R&B. I specialize in beautiful harmonies over heavy bass-driven production that features a range of tempos. When I started, I wrote R&B/soul songs to hip-hop tracks. Then I moved on to working with musicians who started creating tracks specifically for the type of music I write and sing … I want to be a part of the movement bringing R&B/soul music back to the forefront.”
With 24,000 plays and counting, Spinks’ latest project, “Dark Liquor,” is available as a free EP on SoundCloud. She acknowledges that being an independent artist can be difficult, but the struggle makes her even prouder to share her gifts.

PAT PENNINGTON
Gospel sensation Pat Pennington appears regularly at the House of Blues as part of the popular Gospel Brunch series. A performer since the age of seven, Pennington says her style stems from the church. Pennington says, “I love some good ol’ toe-tapping, praising God music. I see myself as a traditional gospel artist. People have compared me to Aretha Franklin, and Anita Baker. These are two different musical worlds. But I appeal to so many, and that is what makes me unique — I can relate to them all.”
Pennington is also a local business owner, and has dedicated herself to teaching others how to succeed. “I see myself as a ‘music business guru,’ who teaches young people the business side of the entertainment industry, said Pennington, who will soon release a new collection of songs. “I aspire to go on tour, star in movies as a flat-footed jazz gospel singer — but most of all, focus on my purpose to minister and develop a platform that takes me around the world to touch many through music and words of faith.”

BRITTANY SOUL
Brittany Soul comes from a musical family. To this day, her most memorable performance was a seventh-grade rendition of the black national anthem.
“I love inspirational music such as jazz, R&B, spoken word, and hip-hop,” she says. “My music spans across many genres, and I often describe my style as the soulful side of all forms of musical expressions — a crossover blend. I have a goal to remain authentic, to inspire, and to encourage people no matter what style of music I’m performing.”
Added Soul: “This year I will be traveling more often and performing across the country. I’m hoping to travel overseas and to make an impact with my art and music. Hopefully, I will be on tour within the next five years and release new music as well as my book.”
Her next endeavor is “definitely a passion project,” she says. “It will be filled with some stories, great songs and will touch on situations many can relate to. I’m working with an incredible new team of producers and musicians. I am excited about what we have done so far — just looking forward to releasing the project this fall. Stay tuned to www.BrittanySoul.com.”

Ariella Azmarellda Blu is a full band featuring lead vocalist Ariella, who began performing at age three in a Los Angeles club owned by actress Marla Gibbs.
According to Ariella, “My style of music cannot be placed in a particular style or category because of the various musical influences from all cultures. We infuse our original materials into R&B, soul, jazz and hip-hop flair.”
She added: “I am currently excited about my joint venture with EDM Global Music and executive producer, Errol Brown. We are working on shooting our first music video. Las Vegas residents and those who visit can also catch our performances yearly at the Las Vegas Taste & Sounds of Soul Festival and Las Vegas Culture Fest on the Fremont Street Experience. We also perform in Los Angeles at King Fest and the 4th of July outdoor concert and fireworks extravaganza in Exposition Park for 102.3 KJLH-FM. We are continuously creating new music for those appreciative music goers.”
