Cleanse for the New Year

The start of a new year always brings eagerness for change. One of the most popular resolutions is to get in shape, lose unwanted pounds, eat better, and exercise. Those are all great goals to have — and they’re easily achievable if you take it slow, add on a few things at a time, stay consistent, and show patience.

A flush is a great strategy for cleaning out the old junk to make a way for better health. The Saltwater Flush is a really simple cleanse that can be done first thing in the morning. The salt solution has the same specific gravity as your blood — so it simply makes its way through the gastrointestinal tract, causing a “tidal wave” effect that pushes everything along until it comes out the other end.

What an effective tool to help keep your colon healthy and clean! What’s even better is that it acts as a mop for your entire GI tract — removing waste (including gas) from the small intestine, and reducing bloating and cramping,.The salt isn’t absorbed by the body; it goes straight through the colon, so it has no effect on high blood pressure.

Directions

• Add 1 tablespoon of Pink Himalayan sea salt to 50 oz of warm water and the juice of 1 lemon.

• Try to drink the salt solution between 5-7 a.m., and consume it all within 45 minutes.

• Do not eat and drink only water for at least two hours afterward. Eat a clean diet for the remainder of the day.

• Do the flush for 4-7 days in a row. The results should be a loss of pounds, more energy, and clearer skin.
