The gift of giving is the biggest treasure you can offer during the Thanksgiving holiday. This season always brings food drives and meal-serving opportunities — with several organizations needing assistance in feeding the hungry.
An often unspoken reality of modern life is that there are still people in our community who do not have enough to eat. Now is the time to engage with those who need volunteers to help those in need. Some of the organizations you can contact to volunteer during this holiday season include: Ronald McDonald House Charities; Three Square; The Shade Tree; The Las Vegas Rescue Mission; The Salvation Army; Family Promise of Las Vegas; Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada; Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth; The Las Vegas Urban League; Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Senior Center; The Las Vegas Doolittle Senior Center; Opportunity Village.
