Parade of His Dreams

The streets of dow ntown Las Vegas were fil led with the joy of the holiday last month, when the 37th Annual Las Vegas Martin Luther King Jr. Parade brought more than 100 entries — floats, drill teams, elected officials, bands, and more — to thousands who lined the streets to enjoy community camaraderie in honor of of the slain civil rights icon. Las Vegas Black Image Magazine was there to capture the colorful sights of this extraordinary tradition.
