MLK Senior Center, Anthem bring Mammo-Rama Extravaganza to Historic Westside

Director Byron Goynes of the MLK Senior Center, located at 2420 North Martin Luther King Blvd., recently hosted Anthem’s Mammo-Rama Extravaganza. Many community residents attended this outdoor event that included music, free food, free vision exams, free feminine products, self-breast exam demonstrations, COVID testing, and COVID and flu vaccinations. And yes, free mammograms.

Many health care providers attended the event to engage with the local community residents. And according to Goynes, “We have big plans for the MLK Senior Center and will be bringing more events and resources to our community.”
