Stars shine for 25th Annual Power of Love Gala
The Keep Memory Alive gala recently had celebrities Demi Lovato, Marilyn McCoo & Billy Davis Jr., Smokey Robinson, Bruno Mars, Babyface, and Jordin Sparks along with others at their 25th gala held at Resorts World Las Vegas.
Lovato, recipient of an MTV Video Music Award, ALMA Award, Billboard Women in Music Award, Five People’s Choice Awards and one of TIME100’s most influential people; McCoo & Billy Davis Jr., seven-time Grammy Award winners, actors in the upcoming TV movie “The Waltons: Homecoming,” authors, the first African-American couple to receive a second honor on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the most mature couple to ever receive a long-term recording contract with EE1/BMG; McLean, singer-songwriter and member of the Backstreet Boys, the best-selling boy band in history with well over 180 million records sold, eight Grammy Award nominations, two American Music Awards and five Billboard Music Awards; and Sparks, a multi-platinum recording artist, actress, season six “American Idol” winner, Grammy Award nominee and recipient of an NAACP Image Award, BET Award and American Music Award, joined other celebrities at the gala that included: Anthony Anderson, Tori Kelly, Kenny Loggins, Wanya Morris and Shawn Stockman of R&B group Boyz II Men and Charlie Wilson.
The Power of Love gala raises much-needed funds to continue Keep Memory Alive’s mission to support Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health in providing services, care and resources to patients and their caregivers in the fight against neurocognitive diseases including Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Huntington’s. multiple system atrophy, multiple sclerosis and more.
