It is now 2022. This is a very important year for political choices and decisions. What is so much more important in 2022 than it was in 2021, 0r 2020? The complexity of the choices and decisions.

We are facing a force of politically charged messages coming at us asking for attention to their agendas and promises. Now, this is not a negative force; in fact, it is an important and positive one, because the more candidate messages out there, the more options to make choices and decisions. Here is a partial list of the key positions we will be deciding in 2022: Clark County Sheriff, Clark County School Board Trustees, North Las Vegas Mayor, Governor of Nevada, Attorney General of Nevada, Nevada Supreme Court, State Assembly, U.S. House of Representatives, and U.S. Senate.

The stakes are high, due to the impact these positions have on our lives and those we care for and about. In Clark County alone, our lives will be directly impacted by the decisions of the Sheriff’s office as they continue to carry out their procedures to keep the peace. Those who sit on the Nevada Supreme Court and State Assembly face choices on far-reaching decisions that could impact our lives and our children’s lives for years to come. Make sure you know what they are and that you make your voice heard!

Additionally, please consider stepping into the process as a compensated volunteer to facilitate the process: Visit www.clarkcountynv.gov or call (702)455-2944.

This will be an important year for political selections. Listen to the conversations, ask questions and make decisions. Let me know what is on your mind. You have the power. I welcome your comments and suggestions.
