Back to School ‘Slime Week’ concludes at Whitney Library

Free backpacks, school supplies given to hundreds of children.
The Library District hosted its final SLIME WEEK event for student’s back to school activities. The Whitney library branch hosted the festive event that also featured arts and crafts, music, giveaways (including free backpacks and school supplies while supplies lasted), and a chance for kids to SLIME their favorite librarians and LVCCLD executive director Kelvin Watson.
Hundreds of children and their families participated in activities including backpack giveaways, and arts and crafts. Librarians from all over Clark County enjoyed being slimed and entertaining the children and their families,
