It’s September, marking the end of the third quarter and more than halfway through 2024!
The recent Summer Olympics in Paris were a highlight — showcasing incredible performances across basketball, track & field, gymnastics, diving, and swimming. The men’s and women’s basketball finals between the USA and host France were particularly thrilling. Congratulations to Team USA for leading in overall medals and tying China with 40 gold medals!
September also kicks off with Labor Day, celebrating workers’ rights and providing a well-deserved break. It’s an exciting month for sports with the start of NFL and college football seasons, and the WNBA playoffs, as the Las Vegas Aces pursue a threepeat!
This month also recognizes several awareness causes:
• Suicide Prevention Awareness Month
• Childhood Cancer Awareness Month
• Deaf Awareness Month
• Alopecia Areata Awareness Month
• Blood Cancer Awareness Month
• National Childhood Obesity Awareness Month
• Sickle Cell Awareness Month
As we celebrate the holidays, Olympic results and sports seasons, let’s remember to engage responsibly! Until the next edition of Knight Moves, educate yourself and share the knowledge with others. God bless you!
