Macaroni & Cheese
Ingredients (Serves 4-6)
- 1 bag of medium elbow macaroni
Three cheeses:
- Sharp Cheese
- Colby Cheese
- Pepper Jack Cheese
Seasoning:
- 1 teaspoon Onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Garlic pastes
- 1 teaspoon Garlic
- 1 teaspoon Himalayan pink salt
- 1 teaspoon grounded paprika
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon (or to taste) cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
Mix-in Items:
- 3/4 cup of chicken Bouillon
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Three eggs
- 1 cup of crumbled garlic croutons
- 1 stick of butter slices placed on top
- Optional: ½ cup of milk for more moisture before putting it in the oven.
Directions
Put three to four cups of water in a large pot. Add 1 teaspoon of salt and chicken bouillon into water and boil. Add elbow macaroni and stir until tender. Don’t overcook macaroni. Boil macaroni for 2 to 3 minutes or until tender. Take macaroni out of pot, drain in cullender, and put pot top over macaroni in cullender and let steam macaroni. Set macaroni to the side while steaming.
Take your three different cheeses (sharp cheddar, colby and pepper jack cheese) and grate them. Once they are grated, now let’s make the cheese mixture that will be layered into macaroni. Take another large put and place on the stove on medium heat. Put garlic paste at the bottom of the pot and add your heavy cream and seasoning. Do not boil the cream sauce, just stir until hot. Add some of your grated cheese until it is melted and has a creamy consistency. Place about 2 cups of the grated cheese to the side.
Put macaroni in a baking dish and add three of the stirred eggs into macaroni and stir. Add cheese sauce and stir into macaroni until all cheese sauce is used.
Sprinkle the remaining grated cheese on top of macaroni in a baking dish. Add crushed croutons and sliced butter pieces on top. For a more moist dish, you can add half a cup of milk before covering with aluminium foil and placing in an oven.
Cook at 375 degrees for 1 hour or until golden brown.
