Salma Bouakka is fourteen years of age — and when her grandmother, Angela Scurry, said she wanted a garden, Salma assisted in organizing the tools to start a vegetable garden. 

She took part in planting the seeds, setting up the wooden garden container, pots, and more to start the garden. 

“It was a wonderful time spent with my granddaughter, and I am so proud of the job she did,” said Scurry. “Now we will both watch the fruits of our labor grow.”
