‘Green Tie’ celebration for Las Vegas’ civic leadership

Under the glittering lights of the Palms Hotel & Casino, the Las Vegas Urban Chamber of Commerce brought together some of Southern Nevada’s most influential business and community leaders for its annual Green Tie Awards. 

The elegant celebration recognizes outstanding businesses, nonprofit organizations, educators, advocates, and community leaders whose dedication, leadership, and contributions continue to strengthen the Southern Nevada community. 

This year’s honorees included Tech Queen Elite Training Institute, which received the prestigious Small Business of the Year Award, and Intermountain Health, which was named Nonprofit of the Year. 

The evening also recognized Christopher Shelton as the new president of the Las Vegas Urban Chamber of Commerce, marking a new chapter of leadership for the organization. 

With its signature combination of elegance, recognition, and community connection, the Green Tie Awards once again provided an opportunity to celebrate the people and organizations helping move Southern Nevada forward.
