Senior Moment

Nehemiah Ministries invites seniors to a free December 5 community giveaway featuring 30,000 pounds of resources to support older adults and the community.

Nehemiah Ministries Christian Church, in partnership with World Vision and the Home Mission Department of the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc., invites senior citizens to its Free Community Giveaway on Saturday, December 5, 2026, from 9 a.m. to noon, at 3606 N. Rancho Drive, Suite 144, Las Vegas, NV 89130.

The event will include 24 pallets totaling 30,000 pounds of resources, offering seniors an opportunity to receive useful items that can help stretch household budgets during the holiday season. Older adults living on fixed incomes, grandparents caring for grandchildren, and seniors seeking everyday essentials are especially encouraged to attend.

Items may include household supplies, small appliances, tools, clothing, technology, beverages, pet items, and toys. Available selections will depend on the inventory received; specific items are not guaranteed.

Through this partnership, Nehemiah Ministries and its partners are working together to connect community members with essential resources and compassionate support.

Under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Kelcey A. West, Senior Pastor, Nehemiah Ministries continues its commitment to serving neighbors and addressing practical needs throughout the Las Vegas community.

Senior centers, retirement communities, caregivers, and local organizations serving older adults are encouraged to share this invitation with their residents, members, and families.
