Grand Time, Big Parade

The 35th Annual Las Vegas Martin Luther King (MLK) Parade will be held in Downtown Las Vegas on January 16 beginning at 10 a.m. Organizers recently announced the grand marshals for the 2017 parade will include such respected community members such as Pastor Robert E. Fowler of Victory Missionary Baptist Church; Kimberly Bailey Tureaud, publisher and owner of Las Vegas Black Image Magazine and host of the “Enterprising People” radio broadcast on KCEP 88.1 FM; community leader Brenda Williams, founder of the Historic Westside School Alumni Foundation; and Sylvester Rogers, pastor of Greater Mt. Sinai Recruiting Ministries. Actor Antonio Fargas will serve as the parade’s ambassador.
