NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTIONS BE IT RESOLVED: PURSUE EXCELLENCE

PATRICIA SNOWDEN I thank the good Lord for his grace and mercy. I wish a prosperous New Year for all.

ANGEL BROCK I’m going to learn to live my truth. Get closer to God and to grow.

CRYSTAL NICOLE PULLEN I plan to book a performance every day of the week for the whole year.

ANITA TONER I have plans on taking the band Soulmaticz nationwide — as well as getting my book out, and keep growing spiritually with God and my church.

JOHNNY DAIMON I will seek knowledge and keep grinding for music.

ABRIANA TULLER I have as many spiritual goals as I do career-oriented goals — because life is about being practical and satisfying your passions. My ultimate goals are to become a teacher; go to law school; open a practice to help low-income people with their legal issues; get my pilot’s license; publish a few novels; and travel the world with my family. Working on these goals a little at a time, and having a plan and deadlines, has helped me improve my life and raise my level of happiness.

SHELIA HENDERSON GLENN Although I have a job that pays well, which I worked hard to get, I have been wanting to do something that matters for a while. Now, my goal is to get back on track and start a nonprofit that will teach our youth money management — including investment techniques and how to invest in the stock market.
