In celebration of Black History Month, the 15th Annual Las Vegas Taste & Sounds of Soul Festival returns to the Fremont Street Experience.
On Feb. 26 and 27, more than 15,000 people are expected to converge on the Fremont Street Experience for the 15th Annual Las Vegas Taste & Sounds of Soul Festival. Celebrating Black History Month, the event will begin each day at 11 a.m. and last until midnight.
With a host of incredible sponsors — KTNV Channel 13 (ABC); Southern Wine & Spirits; Caesars Entertainment; Wells Fargo Bank; MGM Resorts International; Southern Nevada Water Authority; Power 88.1 KCEP; Las Vegas Black Image Magazine and Dr. Annette Mayes of Las Vegas All Women’s Care — the Taste and Sounds of Soul Festival will feature over 40 vendors specializing in soul food and much more.
The two-day festival will also feature ongoing entertainment on the Fremont Street Experience main stage. Another highlight: the 2nd Annual Las Vegas Black Image Honors, which salutes Nevadans who enhance the state’s image through diversity.
“The 15th Annual Taste & Sounds of Soul Festival will be bigger than ever and is a free event for the entire family,” said festival coordinators Charles Tureaud and Kimberly Bailey Tureaud. “We are excited about the community’s excitement for the festival.
