LETTER FROM THE PUBLISHERS: Looking ahead to an extraordinary 2024

Happy Kwanzaa! Happy new year! We hope that your year will be filled with peace, love, and prosperity. 

Las Vegas Black Image Magazine has been published since 2008, and it’s been more than an honor to bring this Black owned and operated publication for you the community to enjoy. We again thank our executive publishing team, who is dedicated to making every issue of Las Vegas Black Image Magazine a reading masterpiece for your delight. The featured contributing writers are applauded for their monthly editorial features to keep all informed, educated, and motivated to continue excellence. 

This January 2024 edition not only marks a new year but features an exclusive interview with Dr. Khalilah Ali Camacho — who gives insight on forgiveness and her marriage with the greatest of all time, Muhammad Ali. We also celebrate highlights from the annual Kwanzaa celebration at the West Las Vegas Library Theater, where families attended and enjoyed an evening of speeches, dance, and entertainment. Once again, the community participants in Photos of the Month are greatly appreciated — thank you for sharing your holiday memories with our readers.
