It’s official!
In just a few weeks the contributions that “WE” made during the 2024 presidential campaign — including donations and prayers — will be revealed. Now is the time to show our support in every possible way for Vice President Kamala Harris, who is on the cusp of winning the White House.
Let’s face facts: This election is about maintaining the power and ensuring the prosperity of ALL the people. This may sound cliché, but we must always keep our focus on the future we envision. Republicans and Democrats seem to be actively engaging in the process. It takes 270 electoral votes to win the presidency — and as of this writing, the latest polling shows a slight lead for Vice President Harris.
Many voters are still undecided, waiting for that decisive moment to choose their candidate. The Vice President has outlined three key objectives, which can offer insight into that decision:
• Her story is relatable to many. Vice President Harris often shares her experiences growing up in a middle-class neighborhood raised by a working single mother. Her ability to relate to the challenges and victories we all experience is commendable.
• As a prosecutor, her focus was on protection. She drew inspiration from the challenges and victories we all face in our own ways.
• As Vice President, she has aimed to expand access to maternal care to reduce mortality rates. This has become a crucial part of Biden’s Build Back Better Act of 2022.
How many of these three points resonate with your own experiences?
When we vocalize our opinions, we empower ourselves to take action. Sharing our vision to create a better future for our country benefits us all. When communities unite for the greater good, our ideas and resources make a difference. When we share our dreams and collaborate with others to take action, our collective energy leads us all to positive change.
