Driven To Raise Awareness 

Our 8th Annual Las Vegas Caravan for Mammogram was a tremendous success — with over 130 Black women participating in the yearly awareness-raising event hosted by Las Vegas Black Image. 

When that many people come together for a cause, the list of thank-yous is long. And it begins with our sponsors: Intermountain Healthcare, Comprehensive Cancer Center and Select Health. Their support for Black women — the hardest-hit demographic when it comes to breast cancer — is extraordinarily impactful and will always be remembered. 

Special thanks to our grand marshal, Dr. Marguerite Brathwaite. We would also like to thank all of the breast cancer survivors, families, and supporters, including Simply Pure, Metro Volunteers, Heavenly Smiles Mobile Dental, Forever Smiles Dental, Channel 8, Channel 3, Power 88 KCEP, DJ Kameron Mack, Valley Hospital, and Steinberg Diagnostic. And a huge shout out to our Caravan for Mammogram Ambassador Team: Iris Moore, Kimberly Polard, Angela Scurry, Claudia Allen, and Delisa Macklin worked hard to create the extraordinary day captured in these images.
