Words to the future self

Wishing you a “Happy New Now,” as was often said by my very good, late friend Will.

Living in the present is an intentional and conscious act that takes practice. Words such as “Loving what is” and “Let them,” are all about releasing control over the things that take space in our own heads. We are all students in the classroom called life. And the manuscript a life of peace is shadowed by the thoughts of living in happiness.

Happiness is what peace makes at any given time — sometimes rising unexpectedly. But peace is the bedrock that is strived for, bringing about productivity when called upon.

Those conversations with thyself need to be had. The GPS that will prepare us for whatever life has to bring lies within. While driving through life it is wise to wear a helmet. So, suit up and share your expectations with yourself for yourself. The inner part of you that is the ultimate navigation controller to weave and swerve when required.

The future is the panacea that we hope for. We bet on “time” to fix all things that are difficult. Time in many cases is our friend, but it can’t do all the work. It asks you to be prepared so that the opportunities revealed can be experienced. Sit down in that quiet space and have honest conversations without hearing voices of judgement that echo from negative, intrusive thoughts planted by insecurity.

When all is silent, true dreams and desires are released. Even pathways are discovered, leading to the actualization of what you want to manifest.

Yes, you are magnificent and authentic. The world is waiting on your personal example for truth. Washing away attachments that guide you away from all that you are. You are the perfect image that will walk into the future hand-in-hand with time.

See you at the destination. Peace.
