An Evening with Ben Vereen & Friends: A Celebration of the Arts Like No Other

Picture this: Tony Award-winning icon Ben Vereen, the powerhouse vocals of Lillias White, the legendary Bubba Knight, Vegas headliners Clint Holmes, Earl Turner, Genevieve Dew, and more — all sharing one stage. 

Add to that a cast of 100 performers, ranging in age from 6 to 90, for a one-night-only experience you won’t find anywhere else. This isn’t just a concert; it’s a celebration of the arts, passion, and the power of dreaming big. 

And speaking of dreams, this event supports something groundbreaking: the creation of The Legacy Theatre of Excellence, Nevada’s first African American-owned and operated theater. With a performing arts education complex and the first-ever African American Entertainment Museum in the region, this venue will honor icons like Gladys Knight, Dr. Maya Angelou, Cicely Tyson, and Vereen himself — while shaping the stars of tomorrow. 

Ensuring inclusivity for all, the evening will also feature live interpretation by Jeanette Lee, a CODA-certified interpreter and former Mrs. Sweden World, making this event an experience that truly welcomes everyone.
