November brings crisp air and a season of gratitude, reflection, and renewed momentum. It also invites us to turn that energy into action. Whether you’re finalizing projects, preparing for the holidays, or simply enjoying hoodie-and-sweater weather, remember that this is a powerful time to align your intentions with the future you want to create.
In the Northern Hemisphere, November brings full-fledged autumn, while in the Southern Hemisphere, spring is beginning to bloom. Regardless of where you are, this seasonal transition symbolizes both letting go and embracing renewal.
Sports Are in Full Swing!
Our UNLV REBELS continue their pursuit of a bowl-bound season with grit and passion, while the NFL and LAS VEGAS RAIDERS battle it out on the gridiron. At this point in the season, every game counts! The GOLDEN KNIGHTS are skating strong into the NHL season, determined to bring another Stanley Cup to Las Vegas.
A huge shoutout to our LAS VEGAS ACES for an incredible 2026 season, despite being eliminated in the second round by Golden State. A’ja Wilson’s historic fifth MVP award continues to inspire athletes across all sports. In my opinion, A’ja is more than a player — she’s the face of the WNBA, the league’s Michael Jordan, and the driving force behind a movement! BAM!
November Holidays and Observances
● November 11: Veterans Day: Honoring those who have served our country.
● November 26: Thanksgiving Day: A time to reflect, celebrate, and give thanks.
Monthly Awareness Recognitions
● Native American Heritage Month: Celebrating the rich cultures, traditions, and contributions of Indigenous peoples.
● Men’s Health Awareness Month: Encouraging men to prioritize their well-being, from mental health to prostate cancer awareness.
● National Family Caregivers Month: Honoring those who selflessly care for loved ones.
● Diabetes Awareness Month: Raising awareness, recognizing the signs, and supporting those affected by diabetes.
● National Adoption Month: Highlighting the importance of adoption and its lasting impact on children and families.
As we gather with loved ones, cheer on our favorite teams, and find ways to give back, let’s remember to be present and purposeful. November is more than a pause before the holiday season; it’s an opportunity to reflect on how far we’ve come and recognize how much more we can accomplish.
Until the next edition of Knight Moves, keep moving forward, stay educated, and share the knowledge.
God Bless!
