4th Annual Springs Preserve Black History Month Festival

On Feb. 16, the Springs Preserve (located at 333 S. Valley View Blvd., across from the Meadows Mall) will host its 4th Annual Black History Month Festival.

As a young man, I wrote a play called “The Willow Building,” adapted from my real-life conversations with veterans who lived in an actual Chicago building after their military service was complete.
